According to the assessment of ecotoxicological data, Aldicarb is classified as extremely and highly toxic to birds, highly toxic to bees, very toxic to earthworms and highly toxic to aquatic organisms vertebrates and invertebrates, and slightly toxic to algae, therefore meets with the criteria for inclusion in Annex III of the Rotterdam Convention.
